‘the fire of learned low self-esteem and self-obsessed comparisons for the sake of things I don’t. even. care. about.’

Yeah, I can relate to this. It just shows how irrational our thoughts can be.

The way to overcome such problems is to go deep within ourselves and determine the root causes and address them.

Probably better to not go viral at all than going viral BECAUSE of losing your mind! 😆

Thank you for writing this.

This is so beautiful and so real. I love watching your writing unfold in real time; it’s as if I’m in your mind with you. I’m not quite sure how you do it.

Also, out of curiosity, I’d love to see the video you mentioned if you’re willing to share!

Hats off to you for actually doing the work to overcome this. I can see myself going into similar spirals from the tiniest provocations, then I forget about it, then I'm forced to watch the same reaction happen again the next time I'm triggered... Getting to the roots of our own issues takes so much time and dedication, but must have such profoundly positive effects. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing, Michelle. It truly is a process of remembering and forgetting enough times until you can come back to yourself and what matters most to you. We are all on our way in the healing journey. ❤️

I admire your vulnerability to admit when something large or small bothers you when it also brings you joy for someone you love. It’s hard to balance those conflicting feelings, and you’ve written about this so beautifully! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, lovelies. Yes, the balance in a time when we are so saturated with messages and comparisons is a challenging one to strike, but by writing about it I hope to remind others they are not alone when the odd, conflicting feelings arise. Thank you for your sweet comment.

Thank you, Mark. I appreciate you subscribing. ❤️ And it's true, I found myself becoming so absorbed in the wrong metrics when the ones in my control are the ones that matter most.
