Thank you, Reece! Someone I'm working with just described it so powerfully yesterday - if you're not present in the ocean, you're done for - and it's so true. Whether the ocean is a battleground or playground all depends on whether you're willing to BE in the ocean, no matter who you are.
I imagine it's all of the above, Mark, and also that 'home' for me might be something different for you but potentially it still feels the same way. So I wonder if it's less about what the thing is and more about how the thing makes us feel within ourselves. I like to think my enthusiasm will stay with me once my youth fades, too.
